Description

DHP is thrilled to offer this first ever ALL FEMALE Goalie Development Program where goalie specific skill development is at the forefront of each ice session. The DHP goaltending team is both highly qualified and knowledgeable about the position, and possess an enthusiasm to teach developing goalies which is both extremely effective and professional.

During each 2 hour on-ice session, goalies will work through a series of power skating drills followed by a series of shooting drills that promises to be effective and fun for your child’s development. Goalies will be capped at 3 per net to maximize instruction, and shooters will be selected from our DHP staff and/or elite level players.

Off-Ice Video Training
Goalies will be exposed to various video training scenarios Sunday-Thursday.

Dryland Training
Goalies will be exposed to various stations of dryland training that they can continue to do at home. The players will learn proper warmup and stretching techniques. They will learn exercises that will help them improve on their footwork, agility, balance, and core strength that will translate to their on-ice performance.

Format

2 hours of on-ice instruction each day.
1 hour video session each day Sunday-Wednesday.
1 hour of dryland training each day Sunday-Thursday
